Technical Scheduling Officer based at the Balcatta PRFS Depot. Must be able to commit to 6.00 am early starts.
Reporting to the team Leader Planning & Scheduling you will be packages achieve efficient and optimal delivery in accordance with KPI targets. Facilitates Maintenance and Operations commitments to enable work to be delivered safely with minimal impact to site, assets, process and environment.
What the role will involve:
· Collaborates with O&M Team Leaders, Technical Advisors and O&M Planners to support and action the work program based on resource forecasts and productivity levels.
· Coordinate corrective maintenance review and assessment to determine agreement across M&O to prioritise work based on asset availability, criticality and process impacts.
Key skills and experience:
· Considerable experience in scheduling and/or planning maintenance or operational activities.
· Considerable experience in field-based asset operations and maintenance in a large infrastructure-based service organisation.
Collaborates with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Team Leaders, Technical Advisors and Technical Planners to support and action the work program based on resource forecasts and productivity levels.
▪ Coordinate corrective maintenance review and assessments to determine agreement across M&E to prioritise work based on asset availability, criticality and process impacts.
▪ Collaborate with the training co-ordinator and Team Leaders to identify training, meeting and work events and schedule such events accordingly.
▪ Accountable to schedule work based on priority, planned date, geographical location and asset impact to ensure work orders are managed through their entire lifecycle to meet corporate KPI’s in the most efficient manner possible.
▪ When required, support Team Leaders and Technical Planners in procurement processes and purchase orders for contractor related works for external Planned Maintenance and/or Reactive work.
▪ Monitor and report on corrective work trend and advise Team Leaders and Operation Manager on required resource allowance to deliver corrective work program.
▪ On a daily basis collaborate with Team Leader Planning and Scheduling and Team Leader M&E on the status of resources to ensure all work is in a ready state to be scheduled.
▪ Responsible to develop daily work allocation to ensure crews are effectively utilised throughout the week in accordance with M&E Process (Fair Day's work)
▪ Highlight any resource constraints that will impact delivery of the daily works plan to TLs.
▪ Update planning rosters for North and South on a weekly basis for the planning meeting
▪ Creation, assignment and management of work orders as required through their life cycle (eg. Work For My Action WOs, Backlog WO, Fault WO, Reactive and Planned Maintenance WO)
▪ Schedulers are to prepare a two-week plan based on the 6 weeks plan obtained from SAP or Maximo
▪ Confirm resources by 12 pm latest for the next day with Team Leaders, amend and prepare Daily plan for the next day
▪ Distribute Daily Plan to Team Leaders (Mechanical, Electrical), M&E Ops Manager and Team Leader Planning and Scheduling (if covering for other areas, send Daily Plan to other Team Leaders as well (e.g. Mechanical and Electrical North Team Leaders)
