About the role
Provides pricing for special agreements (Major Consumers, Non-regulated Customers and Recycled Water Customers), land development proposals and new business opportunities, assists in contract negotiations and preparation of contracts and provides input into development of policies, procedures and methodology relating to special agreements.

What the role will involve:
- Undertakes financial modelling and pricing proposals for Major Customer agreement customers.
- Undertakes research, financial and economic analysis on matters related to Major Customer agreements and other strategic projects.
- Lead contract negotiations and the preparation of agreements.
- Provides appropriate pricing and commercial advice to internal and external clients.
- Provides input into policies, procedures and methodology relating to major consumers and other financial models.
- Extracts and processes data from corporate systems to aid modelling and investment decisions
- Undertake preparation of annual pricing submissions and special agreements revenue forecasting.
- Provide high quality pricing and supply agreement support to Regions from the north west, all the way down to the great southern and any other areas within the business.
Key skills and experience:
- Degree level qualification in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business or a relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in financial modelling and project evaluation
- Relevant experience in commercial negotiations and contract preparation
- Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues and senior management
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
- Proven effectiveness in both oral and written communication
- Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high-performance culture
