About the role:
This permanent opportunity based in Subiaco WRRF requires you to be able to lead and coordinate site wastewater process technical direction that is related to Water Resource Recovery and membrane treatment sites across the metropolitan area. As well as coordinate routine technical reporting and provide treatment process specialist support to ensure technical requirements are met.

What you can expect with this role
· Lead the technical direction for the operation and optimisation of the Water Resource Recovery and membrane treatment processes to achieve compliance with Corporate and regulatory requirements
· Management of a technical team consisting of one direct report
· Manage complex engineering investigations into biological wastewater treatment, wastewater recycling, membrane processes and water quality
· Support major capital and minor projects
· Prepare technical reports on the performance and operation of processes
· Lead process, chemical and energy optimisation initiatives
· Lead the development of operational intelligence tools for plant monitoring
· Lead scientific and engineering investigations for assessment of wastewater treatment technologies in the metropolitan sites
Key skills and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree qualification in a relevant disciplines such as, science, engineering or environmental engineering
· Operational or design related experience in biological wastewater and membrane processes is highly desirable
· Demonstrated experience in wastewater, water, or chemical process related troubleshooting and reporting
· Demonstrated experience in leading a technical team in solving engineering or water quality problems
