About the role

This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a pro-active and experienced Facilities and/or Fleet manager. Based in Leederville and reporting to the Head of Procurement & Property, this key leadership role will manage the Corporation’s fleet and facilities ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimisation of the fleet base and corporate facilities across the State. Your work will directly support Water Corporation’s operational goals and enhance the overall productivity of our workforce. The team is key enabler to Water Corporation’s operations around Western Australia. 

What the role will involve:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset strategy for facilities and fleet including integration of the five-year capital programs for facilities projects and fleet.
  • Support both macro and micro-budget process and provide insight on strategies to help deliver facilities maintenance, facilities projects and fleet new/ replacement purchases within budget.
  • Actively lead and manage a high-performing team to ensure the effective delivery of Procurement & Property objectives and broader organizational goals.
  • Maintain and continuously improve critical processes that support efficient and effective facilities and fleet management and project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to support effective decision-making and drive positive business and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams to shape and support the successful delivery of programs, projects, and broader business objectives.

Your skills and experience:

As an experienced asset manager, you will have proven experience in facilities and/or fleet management within a large organisation. Your strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage and optimise both operating and capital budgets will be critical, as will your experience in financial planning and reporting.

You’ll have a strong track record in delivering maintenance and capital works projects, and a passion for driving continuous improvement through strategic partnerships and innovation.
