As an Onboarding Officer you will help create a positive, supportive, and seamless experience for commencing students by providing clear and accurate information through webinars, online materials and in-person events. This requires a collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills.

You will play an active role in initiatives that strengthen engagement, support student success, and contribute to an environment focused on continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • A fantastic communicator, able to deliver clear and accurate information in written form and verbally, and be comfortable presenting to large groups of new students.
  • Able to coordinate and deliver high-quality administrative activities that underpin major student programs and events, including orientation and peer mentoring initiatives.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

You will have:

  • Strong customer service and administrative capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear way to new students at the University.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills, including experience scheduling tasks, supporting projects, and contributing to event delivery.
  • Experience in coordinating and engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders and maintaining those relationships.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 5 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
