The opportunity

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of TPG’s security networks and applications. Conduct security audits of the network and identify requirements and necessary upgrades. Ensure all work complies with TPG Security Policies to lower the probability of security compromises within the TPG network. Keep up to date with technological advancements and provide suggestions for integration into network design. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the network infrastructure by identifying opportunities to achieve a network that accommodates growth


  • Conduct security penetration testing on networks and applications.
  • Develop, maintain and implement security tools in order to streamline the detection of vulnerabilities within applications/network.
  • Conduct security audits to evaluate how well an organisation’s system conforms to the established criteria
  • Assist in driving security compliance requirements.
  • Review business processes and technology to advise on enhancements and additional controls that will improve overall enterprise security posture.
  • Write and contribute to security reports.

Knowledge and experience

  • Ideally have one or more of the following certifications: OSCP certification or equivalent (or the ability to pass the OSCP certification during probation) such as OSWE, GPEN.
  • Experience or participation in bug bounty and or capture the flag.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with security, compliance and controls programs.
  • Scripting and programming skills, particularly Python, Perl and Java.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of technology solutions.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise security, risk management, and security frameworks such as PCI-DSS.
