The TPG Telecom Foundation is our company’s charitable arm. The Foundation’s purpose is to create opportunities to improve the health, wellbeing and education of Australian communities in need. It supports TPG Telecom's commitment to our purpose, to build meaningful relationships and support vibrant, connected communities. This role ensures the TPG Telecom Foundation achieves its purpose ‘to create opportunities to improve the health, wellbeing and education of Australian communities in need’ and to increase TPG Telecom employee awareness, pride, and participation in Foundation programs.
This 12 month Fixed Term Contract offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the Foundation's programs, social impact initiatives and management of its charity partnerships, employee engagement and volunteering programs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage the Foundation's programs and initiatives, including key charity partners and staff engagement, ensuring their effective implementation.
- Collaborate with media, external affairs and internal communication teams to promote awareness and engagement through effective communication channels.
- Own and drive the creation and delivery of the Foundation’s communication plan across all internal and external channels, including written and video content.
- Prepare regular reports and content on the Foundation's activities and project outcomes, for both internal and external stakeholders, including the TPG Telecom Foundation Board of Directors.
- Leverage TPG Telecom’s people and assets through collaboration with senior leaders to drive employee engagement, encouraging active participation and support for the Foundation's initiatives.
- Manage the Foundation budget (both grants and Opex), in compliance with Private Ancillary Fund and any applicable TPG Telecom Group requirements.
- Work with Legal, Tax, Company Secretariat and the Foundation Board to ensure the Foundation adheres to its requirements as a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF) and meets all reporting requirements internally and externally.
- Support TPG Telecom’s Sustainability programs to provide governance and communication support.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum five years’ experience managing corporate philanthropy or a charitable foundation, with a focus on social impact.
- Experience in and understanding of the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with C-suite executives and senior leadership, effectively communicating the value of social impact initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employee engagement strategies, volunteering program management, and community relations.
- Experience in managing budgets in a corporate and regulatory setting.
- Strong administration skills to effectively manage and coordinate various tasks and projects, with the ability to prioritise and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences, including Board preparation and reporting.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management both externally and across all levels of seniority in a business.
- Strong experience in delivering projects/campaigns in a fast-moving corporate environment.
