At Telstra Health, we’re building solutions that improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare delivered across Australia. Working with clinical and administrative systems, health data analytics, population health solutions and information exchange platforms, we’re enabling clinicians to deliver care in new ways.

This Senior role sits within our Technology, Innovations and Analytics Business Unit and is primarily responsible for generating services revenue across Data Analytics, Cloud Migration, Security Services and Bespoke Software development Solutions.

Our head office is in Melbourne, however we are flexible on location and where this role can be based within Australia.

 Help us shape a connected future for healthcare by: 

  • Having the ability to truly partner with our customer, to understand business requirements and provide the most aligned technology solutions
  • Being the lead technical design authority for multi-discipline technology solutions, working with product and architecture teams
  • Participating in response assignment and consolidate the design responses to ensure that the solution demonstrates that we have considered interoperability and dependencies
  • Ensuring the post sales process runs smoothly, by seeking and acting upon customer feedback
  • Consolidating and or providing a High Level Design (HLD) service that delivers quotations, proposal documents, diagrams and input to the design and technical sections of tender responses
  • Providing a clear solution handover information to Engineering and Operations, using an agreed format, Technical Solution Document (with resource description, expectation, and caveats).
  • Partnering closely with SME’s and vendors to validate solutions and pricing to ensure effective solutions are offered.
  • Providing regular feedback and insights to the Senior Leadership community, and ensuring risks and issues are highlighted
  • Maintaining up to date vendor accreditation levels for key portfolio vendors
  • Having presence at company organised events, trade shows and seminars as required

You will bridge the conversation between our clients and the technical team – ultimately allowing us to deliver best in class solutions for our customers. Your technical expertise coupled with your demonstrated achievement of sales and revenue targets will set you up for success. 

Your natural ability to engage with and influence Key Stakeholders will see you drive outcomes and deliver successful solutions. We are seeking someone with a Health Software background who is comfortable engaging with C-Level Executives and Senior Management.
