This position is based out of Group Support Office based in Strathpine, QLD.

About the position

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and managing reporting assets (apps, dashboards, reports, cubes, semantic models, etc), mentoring the business on the usage of BI applications, driving the application of BI technologies across the SRG business; providing a medium for the business to leverage actionable insights, delivering value.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop reporting assets, including but not limited to apps, dashboards, reports, semantic layers such as cubes, to meet business needs.
  • Propose enhancements to the existing developments within the BI Application Suite
  • Review and evaluate stakeholder business requirements and abilities to recommend solutions that can be integrated and deployed in the environment
  • Facilitation of coaching and mentoring sessions improving data and visualisation literacy
  • Solicit information on enterprise direction, goals, and industry competitive environment to determine how own function can add value to the organisation and to customers
  • Make recommendations clearly linked to the organisation's strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics

To be successful in this role

  • You come from a background as a BI Developer or BI/Reporting/Visualisation Analyst
  • You have Dev/Admin experience with Qlik Sense/View
  • Experience with SAP ECC/BW/Business Objects would be highly advantageous
  • Experience with Business Requirement Analysis and Business Modelling
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable engaging and presenting to varying levels of leadership
