About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and sharp-thinking Transport Services Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Brendale!

In this exciting role, you’ll be the first point of contact for managing freight exceptions —ensuring bookings are accurate, the best transport providers are lined up (with cost and service in mind), and transit guidelines are hit every time. You’ll also team up with our Group Transport Operations Controllers to nail invoice checks and keep our carriers paid promptly and smoothly.

Reporting to the Transport Services Lead, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting customer bookings for domestic transport, ensuring accuracy and match of transport provider to service need.
  • Supporting accounts reconciliations and checking against services delivered to costs.
  • Providing reports on invoicing for Transport Operations, including costs, accuracy, variances and delivery within agreed terms.
  • Providing reports in relation to Transport Services such as accuracy, cost, variances, process and any other matters as required.

In addition, you will have:

  • Proven background in customer service, with a focus on responsiveness and solution-oriented support
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Strong work ethics and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Desirable:

  • Understanding of transport operations, including booking processes and freight exception handling
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable within a large, complex business environment
  • Familiarity with SAP systems, particularly for PO creation, invoice processing and vendor management
