The role

The Netball Australia Board is responsible for the governance and strategic leadership of Australian netball.

To assist the delivery of long-term business and financial planning, the board is seeking nominations for an appointed director and elected director with strong, demonstrated experience for the following director roles:

Commercial Position

• Extensive experience in high level corporate or private sector management
• Strategic planning
• Broadcast and media
• High-level reputation and networks in government, business and relevant sporting industry organisations and groups
• Senior-level experience and demonstrated track record of success in brand marketing and communications

Sports Administration Position

• Extensive experience in sports administration
• Experience in sport federated stakeholder environment enabling effective engagement and communication
• Experience in Australian and global sport industry, community, umpiring, coaching and high-performance sport
• High level reputation and networks in the relevant sport industry organisations and groups with experience
• Demonstrated high-level understanding of the sports industry
