The Role
Adbri Quarries currently has an opportunity for an experienced Heavy (HC) Combination licence Driver to drive a Truck and Quad Dog or live bottom semi-trailer, as required.
Primarily working out of our Kilburn site, you will be responsible for the loading and delivery of raw materials used in the production of concrete and aggregates to multiple sites within the Adelaide Metro area, as well as for vehicle upkeep. You will primarily night shift five days per week, with set start times.
We offer a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for regular paid overtime.
Responsibilities
- Load and deliver raw materials to both internal company, and external sites as required
- Ensure safety, health & environment standards are maintained
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management requirements
- Complete basic documentation
- Maintain professional customer relationships
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition
What you will need to succeed
- Current HC drivers licence and be able to provide driver licence history check – essential
- A professional approach to the operation of a heavy vehicle with a thorough knowledge and understanding of CoR requirements
- A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work independently
- Previous tipper experience advantageous but not required
- Relevant building/concrete industry experience advantageous but not required
