Mower Operator (Premier Parks)

As a trusted partner of the Queenstown Lakes District Council, we take pride in maintaining the regions parks, playgrounds, gardens, infrastructure, and public spaces. To support our mission, we're seeking a Mower Operator specifically for Premier Parks.

What You’ll Do:

As a Mower Operator (Premier Parks), you'll be responsible for the scheduled mowing of various parks across the Queenstown Lakes District. Your role includes:

• Regularly mowing and maintaining parks to ensure optimal, high quality grass care
• Performing weed eating and edging to keep all areas looking pristine
• Conducting basic routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition
• Ensuring parks meet the highest standards of presentation and client specifications

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining green spaces. Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience with small plant and ride-on mowers preferred
• A full, current driver’s license with manual capability essential (class 2 is also favourable)
• Enjoyment of outdoor work and pride in a job well done
• Physical fitness for the demands of Parks maintenance
• Basic computer skills for equipment and reporting tasks
• Commitment to Health and Safety policies
• A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
