Join us as a Response Labourer for Fielding!
Green by Nature is proud to partner of Manawatu District Council to maintain the region’s parks, playgrounds, and public spaces, keeping them beautiful and clean. Since 1992, we’ve grown into an industry leader with over 2000+ team members across New Zealand and Australia. Our commitment to enhancing the natural environment aligns with the Council’s vision for a sustainable future.
What we're looking for:
Ideally we would love someone who has practical experience in maintenance, however, this is not a must. As long as you have an awesome work ethic, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors also include:
- A current, full Class 1 driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual - even better if you have class 2!
- Experience in other trades such as in carpentry, concreting, maintenance, etc
- Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team mates needs to be second nature
- You’ll need to be self-motivated with a great work ethic and be able to work alone at times - for the big jobs, you’ve got the support of our team to help out!
- Physically fit and be able to manage some heavy lifting at times
Here's what we can offer you:
Along with working within a company that has been an industry leader for more than 30 years, you will receive:
- A performance-based salary that is reviewed annually
- The opportunity to work in a role that gives back to the community
- Internal and external learning and development opportunities with the ability to progress your career
- $300 annual wellness benefit (after qualifying period), work phone permitted for personal use and much more!
