We’re now on the lookout for a Hammer Hand to join our Auckland Projects Team.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be part of a skilled and collaborative team working on a range of construction and greenspace projects, as well as in the maintenance space. Your work will be visible across the Auckland region and regularly recognised by the public for its quality.

You’ll get involved in tasks such as:

  • Minor renovation and building works
  • Concrete work, boxing, bollards, fencing, tracks, and wooden structures
  • Hard and soft landscaping
  • Supporting project delivery to ensure it's on time and up to our high standards

What We’re Looking For:

You’ll bring practical building experience, ideally from a construction background, and be confident using hand and power tools, small machinery including diggers would be advantageous. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, adaptable, and ready to get stuck in.

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • A full driver’s licence
  • WTR endorsements or Class 2 is a bonus!
  • Proven experience working on-site, meeting deadlines and staying within budget
  • A solid work ethic and a willingness to take on a range of tasks
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of teamwork
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices – keeping yourself, your team, and the public safe is key
  • A current Site Safe Passport and a trade background would be advantageous
