Title: Senior Planner
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 3-month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Present and merchandise Nike product to consumers with a focus on storytelling and seasonality.
- Drive financial results by maximizing sales, inventory, and gross margin profitability from SKU level to total category.
- Manage the financial success of the Kids Footwear business by meeting strategic objectives and aligning with retailer goals.
- Recap and analyze actual sales results, forecast in-season sales and inventories, and report on business health to drive smart decisions.
- Support and improve planning processes to ensure consistency across documentation and implementation.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Create clear, consumer-centric merchandise plans that tell a compelling story for each season.
- Collaborate closely with retail counterparts to develop sales and inventory plans that optimize results for both Nike and the retailer.
- Partner with account teams to align product assortments with sales, margin, and turn goals.
- Use current and past season data to assist in assortment planning by location, gender, category, and class.
- Evaluate assortment needs and identify opportunities, risks, and alignment with Nike category objectives.
- Provide planning insights and retailer information to support the go-to-market process.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Experience in retail planning or merchandising.
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Box.
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Nike experience is highly preferred.
