Title: Product Development Engineer 2

Location: St. Charles, MO

Duration: 6 month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers.
  • Utilizes veteran engineering knowledge and applied research towards the development and design of new products and processes.
  • Under the guidance of more Senior Engineers, performs product development engineering work in one or more general engineering functions to include mechanical, process, product, chemical, etc.
  • Applies this work to elevate product through the use of new technologies and processes.
  • Generates tests, and results analysis.
  • Draws conclusions and makes subsequent process or product recommendations.
  • Solves complex engineering problems and takes corrective action.
  • Summarizes reports, data, and findings and prepares reports or briefs of assigned projects.
  • Assists in presenting concepts and solutions at the functional level.
  • Supports knowledge transfer outside of functional area as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience in engineering in manufacturing spaces.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Data Visualization, Python and SQL is a nice to have.
  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience
  • Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
