WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers.

• Collaborates with Marketing/Design to interpret design concept into 2- dimensional patterns.
• Consults with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise.
• Creates first models from concept pictures.
• Incorporates styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process.
• Inspects and critiques samples.
• Creates and/or revises product specifications with construction details for production.
• Ensures specifications detail construction methods that optimizes profitability.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
• Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs.
