Title: Expert Material Designer

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 8 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create/set design direction and material toolbox for silo or product collection within a dimension.
  • May manage team inclusive of setting team and individual goals, development, performance management, recognition and rewards.
  • Active and proficient participant in the creative process and cross-functional communication.
  • Communicate and present design concepts to internal and external audiences. Clearly communicate changes to ensure timely completion of projects. 
  • Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with key partners.
  • May provide mentorship across design.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Digital design acumen (design-based software needed: Creative Suite)
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with advanced digital tools/3D skills
  • Master of make and manufacturing
  • Master presentation & communication skills 
  • Master design skills, brief to presentation to manufacturing 
  • Master creative process
  • Master business context
  • Master understanding of insights 
  • Ability to design advance material concepts. High technical skillset including engineering and Flyknit constructions. 
  • Brings new sustainable methods into product and production
