WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior CAD Specialist to support Air MI facilities by updating, cleaning up, and maintaining existing AutoCAD drawings for multiple buildings that are currently outdated or inconsistent, improving overall accuracy and usability. This person needs to have strong problem-solving skills, organized, analytical, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Primary Goal – Update all Current State Drawings, optimize documentation and folder structure, push drawings towards a 3D future, and assist with permitting drawings as needed. This position will focus on Nike AIR Manufacturing Innovation operations, not on all other Nike facilities. Work closely with Project managers to aid in the completion of integral projects

WHAT YOU BRING

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain existing AutoCAD facility drawings
  • Clean up and stabilize legacy CAD files
  • Organize drawings using clear layers for equipment, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Identify drawing inconsistencies and clean up.
  • Update drawings based on facility and project changes.
  • Support ongoing facilities and equipment updates through CAD revisions.
  • Work with Facility Project Managers and Engineering teams to generate concept layouts and permit drawings.
  • Technical support and mentoring new project managers on CAD fundamentals
  • Establish SOPs for Documentation, Drawing modifications, and File Management (i.e. Folder Structure, Xref’s, layering, file nomenclature).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional 2D & 3D AutoCAD experience.
  • Experience supporting facilities or manufacturing drawings.
  • Experience working with equipment, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Bluebeam
  • Degree or Certification in at least one: Drafting & Design, ADDA, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
