Overview of our role

SAP (Plant Maintenance) Functional Analyst - Shape Our Solutions

Join our Corporate Solutions team and play a vital role in ensuring our SAP ERP application runs smoothly and evolves to meet our business needs. As an SAP Functional Analyst, you'll be a key contributor in providing technical support, maintaining system health, and driving continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll engage with various SAP modules, including Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, Multi Resource Scheduling, and our mobile field solution, mWorkOrder. Your key contributions will include: 

  • Ensuring Smooth Operations: You'll help keep our supported applications reliable and accessible for our business partners. This involves providing application support and following established testing and release processes. You'll also be a guardian of the integrity and security of our team's applications.
  • Contributing to Innovative Solutions: You'll be involved in addressing Non-Standard Requests, which includes analyzing system needs, designing solutions, defining requirements, providing estimates, performing development or configuration, and implementing changes into our production environment.
  • Collaborating on Projects: You may have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to projects led by our Program Delivery team. Working collaboratively with project team members and reporting to a Project Manager, you'll perform assigned tasks and adhere to relevant project guidelines and methodologies.

A little about you

  • Bringing your deep understanding and skill in similar system implementation and support roles.
  • A solid foundation in the SAP Plant Maintenance module is essential.
  • Proven experience in providing valuable services within a business context.
  • A strong history of nurturing positive customer relationships in IT support.
  • Prior experience offering IT support, particularly with SAP PM and PS configuration and business workflows.
  • Directly contributing to IT projects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). 

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Appreciating the intricacies of SAP PS (Project Systems) and PM (Plant Maintenance) modules and how they connect with other SAP areas.
  • Familiarity with IT project management approaches and the journey of software development (SDLC).
  • Well-developed abilities in analysis, problem-solving, and crafting effective solutions.
  • Skillfully balancing priorities and managing multiple tasks with care.
  • Clear and engaging communication, both in writing and speaking, adapted for different audiences.
  • Adept at guiding discussions and finding common ground within diverse teams.
