About the program:
The Jemena Graduate Program is designed to broaden the skills, knowledge and competencies of graduates across multiple disciplines comprising of four six month rotations over two years.
As our Electricity Distribution Engineering Graduate, you will provide support to the Jemena Networks Electricity Asset Management and Operations group – an 11,000km system that delivers electricity to more than 343,000 homes and businesses in northwest Melbourne. The role will be exposed to both fundamental power systems electrical engineering and will be involved in transformative digital and analytical technologies, such as machine learning, computer vision and artificial intelligence.
As part of the program, you will have the opportunity to be involved in meaningful and challenging work that is aligned with Jemena’s corporate strategy and will allow you to make an impact professionally. You can expect to work in a dynamic environment where your ideas will be heard and your work will make a difference.
Your success will depend on how you apply your skills, your passion to learn and your ability to build strong working relationships. You will have plenty of support throughout the program and work with industry professionals.
You may be in your final year of study or have previously graduated and are looking to launch your career. You will be an Australian citizen or resident at the time of application and be available to commence the graduate program with a start date for February 2022 based in Melbourne.
With a degree in Electrical Engineering and ideally Computer Science you will have strong academic results and will provide these as part of your application outlining which areas you have excelled in and also what you have enjoyed the most.
As a graduate, you will come with an inquisitive mindset where you will be supported by a tailored learning and development plan to assist in developing you as a leader to set you up for success.
