We're looking for a passionate GIS Specialist who is excited by the opportunity to use spatial data and technology to make a real impact. In this role, you'll partner with a diverse range of stakeholders to create innovative geospatial solutions that support critical infrastructure, empower informed decision-making and enhance asset performance across our Gas Markets business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Asset Information Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing enterprise GIS solutions that support asset management, operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

You'll combine your technical expertise with your ability to engage and influence stakeholders, helping teams unlock the value of spatial information through innovative and practical solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver high-quality geospatial services including spatial analysis, data management, web mapping and field mobility solutions.
• Design, develop and support web maps, dashboards, applications and mobile GIS tools.
• Partner with operational and project teams to translate business requirements into practical GIS solutions.
• Champion data quality, governance and continuous improvement across spatial and asset information systems.
• Support, coach and empower users through training, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Build trusted relationships across the business to encourage strong data ownership and collaboration.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and technology improvements that strengthen organisational GIS capability.
• Act as a subject matter expert for geospatial systems, processes and best practice.

About You

You're a curious, solutions-focused GIS professional who enjoys working with people as much as technology. You bring strong technical capability, but you're equally passionate about helping others understand and leverage geospatial information.

You'll also bring:

• A degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Science or a related discipline.
• Experience working with GIS in a utilities, infrastructure or asset-intensive environment.
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, including web maps, dashboards, applications and mobile GIS solutions.
• Experience building solutions using VertiGIS Studio / Geocortex.
• Strong spatial analysis, cartographic and data management skills.
• A commitment to data quality, governance and continuous improvement.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
