As our Meter Data Billing Subject Matter Expert, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their energy bills accurately, on time, and with confidence. What You’ll Be Doing

In this key role, you’ll:

• Lead the validation and calculation of meter data into accurate energy consumption insights for delivery to market.
• Support cross-functional teams with your subject matter knowledge, fostering positive relationships and sharing expertise.
• Support Jemena Electricity Networks’ IT initiatives that impact meter data management and billing processes.
• Implement regulatory changes that affect end-to-end Meter Data Management and Billing processes.
• Champion continuous improvement, working proactively to enhance systems and processes that support both customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Use your analytical mind to simplify complex data and present it clearly and accessibly to diverse stakeholders. 

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, meticulous, and genuinely motivated to improve outcomes for others. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Experience in a similar SME or technical role within the utilities or energy sector.
• A strong grasp of meter data, billing systems and regulatory frameworks — and a desire to use that knowledge to uplift performance and reliability.
• An analytical, solution-focused mindset paired with the ability to communicate insights in a way that brings people along on the journey.
• A natural inclination to find better ways of working, continuously learning, and making a positive impact.
