As our Contract Coordinator, you will take charge of managing all aspects of horticulture and garden care across our residential contracts. This includes quality control, staff development, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.

You will work closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure that contracts are executed efficiently and to the highest standard. Your expertise in horticultural maintenance, combined with strong organisational and leadership skills, will be essential to your success in this role.

We are looking for someone with a solid background in horticultural maintenance and proven experience in leading teams, meeting deadlines, and consistently delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication skills are critical, as you will engage with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing improvement to client grounds and gardens is identified and carried out
  • Ensure quotes for clients are prepared within the time frame agreed with the client
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of contracts
  • Lead, guide and mentor horticultural staff
  • Ensure all employees in their teams are inducted and receive ongoing on-the-job training
  • Relationship building and customer relationship management

 

Key Requirements

  • Qualification min. Cert III Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Strengthen your problem-solving skills by addressing challenges in horticultural management, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality results.
  • A positive attitude towards working safely and a commitment to upholding our company's health and safety culture
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, reporting, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Full driver's licence
