About the Role:
Join a dynamic team focused on supporting the Supply Chain function by expediting and tracking all aspects of project deliverables. In this role, you’ll ensure timely readiness and delivery of equipment and materials crucial to Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expedite assigned items, utilizing stakeholder meetings and established systems.
- Mitigate risks by identifying potential issues early in the process.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including vendors, engineering, project teams, and logistics.
- Coach and mentor new hires and team members on expediting processes.
- Ensure vendor equipment/material readiness and documentation compliance.
- Continuously review vendor schedules and reports to prevent delays.
- Organize and lead vendor meetings; communicate effectively across teams.
- Report progress and material status using required formats.
- Assist in verifying invoice accuracy.
- Resolve logistics issues, including freight claims and shipment errors.
- Coordinate with on-site construction to ensure preparedness for deliveries.
- Maintain meticulous electronic records to support timely project closeouts.
- Provide regular updates and reports to Team Lead and/or Manager.
Who You Will Work With:
- Collaborate with Senior Expeditors, Supervisors, and Team Managers for guidance.
- Engage with vendors and internal/external clients such as Engineering, Consultants, and Project Teams.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
- Solid understanding of expediting best practices and logistics.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Engineering and Vendor Documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle Cloud, and Salesforce as an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
