Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Openlink Developer (ETRM) to support Version 25 of the Openlink platform within a dynamic, multi-commodity trading environment. This is a hands-on, operational development role requiring strong technical capability, solution design expertise, and cross-commodity knowledge. The successful candidate will work across seven commodities including crude, renewables, natural gas, and other energy products, delivering end-to-end development solutions within a live trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support Openlink v25 solutions
- Design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions within an ETRM environment
- Write detailed technical plans including:
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Technical design documentation
- Execute full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment
- Provide operational development support across multiple commodities
- Participate in coding assessments and technical reviews
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, traders, risk, and operations teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) domain expertise
- Proven experience supporting multiple commodities (e.g., crude, renewables, natural gas)
- Hands-on development experience in OpenJVS
- Strong Java development background
- Experience working with Openlink Version 25 (preferred)
- Ability to design and deliver complete technical solutions independently
- Strong documentation and planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-commodity trading environments
- Strong understanding of front-to-back trading lifecycle
- Experience in operational support environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced, production-facing teams
