About the Role:
- Enbridge Gas Inc is expanding its industry‑leading Integrity Management Program, designed to ensure the safety and reliability of our natural gas system assets. The Integrity Department is responsible for understanding asset condition, evaluating fitness‑for‑service, and recommending replacement or renewal when assets approach end of life.
- This position resides within the Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP) team. The successful candidate will focus on developing Integrity Plans for several critical facilities across Enbridge Gas Inc. This includes gathering and reviewing technical documentation (such as design drawings and historical inspection data), identifying site‑specific integrity threats, and performing or coordinating fitness‑for‑service assessments.
- Candidates with prior experience in station design or facility integrity within the oil and gas industry will be strong contributors to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, develop, and deliver projects within the Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP), covering assets such as:
- Pressure vessels
- Heat exchangers
- Tanks
- Pressure relief valves
- Station piping and ancillary components
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal teams including:
- Station Operations
- Station Engineering
- Storage & Transmission
- Engineering Construction
- Capital Programs
- Work collaboratively with external stakeholders such as vendors, engineering consultants, and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
- Independently resolve program‑level issues and challenges.
- Support the implementation of facility integrity assessments to ensure safe, reliable operations in accordance with relevant standards and regulations in Canada.
- Coordinate inspections, investigations, engineering assessments, and mitigation activities for station assets.
- Contribute to FIMP project prioritization within the company’s Asset Plan.
- May represent the company on industry committees, technical forums, or code and standards development groups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years or more related work experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Reader, and MS Teams
Helpful (but not required):
- Experience with ProjectWise or similar records management systems
- Experience with Bentley Navigator or Bentley View
- Experience with modelling or scripting in SPSS or similar analytical tools
