This role operates in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment, requiring strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. The Advisor monitors changing system dynamics—including pipeline conditions, weather impacts, market fluctuations, and facility operations—to ensure optimal storage performance and customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize performance of U.S. natural gas storage assets to maximize operational efficiency and commercial value
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with outage coordinators, gas control room operators, capacity planning teams, field operations, and commercial services to ensure alignment on daily capacity, maintenance, and outage activities
  • Monitor storage asset performance daily to evaluate injection, withdrawal, and wheeling capabilities
  • Publish injection and withdrawal priorities for gas control operations
  • Issue updated customer postings related to storage facility outages
  • Approve storage transactions within the client’s LINK application system
  • Implement restrictions to customer storage nominations when operationally required
  • Develop, upload, and maintain operational documentation including storage operating modes, procedures, manuals, and presentations
  • Analyze historical nominations and pressure data to support storage field expansion evaluations
  • Provide commercial input into outage planning processes, ensuring outages are strategically prioritized and executed safely and efficiently with minimal customer impact
  • Collaborate closely with Gas Control, Integrity, Capacity Scheduling, and regional teams to develop detailed outage plans and maintain up-to-date commercial schedules
  • Clearly communicate outage impacts to commercial stakeholders and identify opportunities to enhance outage scheduling in coordination with internal and external partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1–3 years of experience in the natural gas industry (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience working with process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, including tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Get & Transform, and SQL queries (preferred)

Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.
