Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. We aim to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups, and those most in need. OHV is funded by the State Government to provide clinical dental services to eligible Victorians. As trusted advisors in public oral health policy and program and guideline development, we continue to contribute to improving oral health in our communities.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated general dentist to join our Paediatric Dentistry team at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. You will play a pivotal role in providing a broad range of complex dental treatment to public patients. This role is best suited to a general dentist seeking further experience working with children with complex dental, medical, developmental and social needs, potentially prior to entering formal specialist paediatric dentistry training. 

About you: 

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with OHV’s Clinical Standards and Policies. 
  • Contribute in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment, whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care.
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA general dental registration. 
  • An up-to-date employee type of Employee Working with Children Check, Victoria. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence.
