About the opportunity

We’re pleased to invite applications from experienced People & Culture Advisors to join our growing People & Culture team in Adelaide SA.

Based in Brompton or Regency Park, SA, and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, your key focus will be on providing HR generalist support across multiple manufacturing sites in the metropolitan area. 

With support, you’ll coach and mentor leaders and guide them in building and developing strong teams, ensuring the right resources are in place for current needs and future growth, to achieve business outcomes. 

With resilience and confidence, you’ll deal with challenging situations in a pragmatic and assertive way and be comfortable with difficult conversations. 

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Manage and execute all day-to-day transactional aspects of HR for your portfolio.
  • Partner with leaders and managers to provide support and guidance on people matters.
  • Work with leaders to identify skills profiles and develop classification structures.
  • Assist with or manage EBA negotiations. (depending on experience)
  • Analyse data sources to report on various trends and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Contribute to and support continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects.

About you 

What you’ll need:

  • Solid experience in a similar role in a large and complex environment, ideally manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, preparing reports & data analysis.
  • Sound working knowledge of policy frameworks, Enterprise Agreements, and industrial instruments.
  • A thorough understanding of Employee/Industrial Relations legislation and frameworks.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence leaders.
  • A strong commitment to safety and high levels of awareness.  
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business or similar.
  • A current unrestricted driver’s license
