If this sounds like a team you want to be part of, read on because we are on the lookout for an experienced Production Supervisor -Laundry to join our amazing team. Your focus will be to support team leaders and their teams, collaborating with management to drive efficiency and minimise production down time, thus supporting Aruma’s Purpose and Values to enhance the lives of people with a disability, and achieve agreed operational and financial goals. 

What success looks like…

  • Escalate any issues affecting linen processing or team wellbeing for timely resolution, ensuring they were appropriately addressed and recorded.
  • Ensure laundry operations ran efficiently according to schedule while maintaining high service quality.
  • Foster positive team relationships that encouraged cooperation, collaboration, and alignment with organisational values.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by completing all required reporting to meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with laundry teams and management to support a positive workplace culture and strengthen Aruma’s reputation as a quality service provider.

Skills and Experience which will make you stand out ...

Must have’s OR Essential 

  • Sound negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues. 
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to supervise and support small teams
  • A practical understanding of WHS requirements.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Childrens Check.

Nice to have’s OR Desirable 

  • Formal team leadership training (such as Cert IV or Diploma of Frontline Management)
  • Working at heights and confined spaces certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Forklift ticket and MR driver’s license, or willingness to obtain certification
  • A Cert III qualification in Disability or related field or equivalent experience working with people with disabilities, particularly in a service provision context.
