As People Partner in our Human Resources team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience supporting your portfolio stakeholders to identify and implement retention strategies, assist with organisational structure optimisation and provide sound advice through case management, investigations, and grievances.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be an established HR Business Partner, capable of navigating challenging situations with resilience, adaptability and with a high level of business acumen.
Using your strategic mindset and problem-solving skills, you’ll manage complex employee relations and change management projects with empathy and professionalism.
You’ll be self-motivated, capable of working independently and adept at guiding and advising leaders to foster a safe and inclusive work environment.

What can you expect to be doing?
- Supporting Leadership: Collaborate with Aged Care leadership teams to support their strategic priorities and deliver a safe and inclusive employee experience.
- Employee Relations: Case Management of workplace investigations into misconduct matters, underperformance, fitness for work and grievances/complaints across Aged Care.
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Understand the reasons for Portfolio employee turnover, utilising the most effective data gathering techniques, proactively implementing strategies to improve employee retention.
- Learning and Organisational Development: Identify leadership and employee capability gaps, guide and advise leaders on learning and development solutions to increase workforce capability.
- Change Management: Lead compliant change projects including restructures, realignments, shift and rostering changes, reporting changes.
What do you need to bring?
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Human Resources/Psychology or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a previous HR Partner or Advisory role demonstrating strong HR industry knowledge and maturity.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills to support a variety of senior management stakeholders in a diverse portfolio/sector.
- Self-direction, motivation, and proactive time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability in translating HR policy and legislation and provide high level HR advice.
