What you’ll do
The Roving Clinical Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, across a number of our homes. The Roving Clinical Care Coordinator will assist in maintaining a positive and supportive work environment while mentoring and coaching staff to foster a culture of excellence in care delivery.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Provide clinical leadership and coordination across assigned homes, ensuring that person-centred care principles are adhered to.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care to monitor progress, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to nursing and care staff to enhance clinical knowledge, skills, and performance.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage complex care needs with previous senior clinical care experience.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on team development, motivation, and professional growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, residents, families, and external professionals.
- Flexibility to work across multiple homes, adapting to different team dynamics and clinical needs.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
- Knowledge of relevant aged care regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., Aged Care Quality Standards)
We would also love you to have:
- Ability to identify challenges and develop practical, person-centred solutions.
- A strong commitment to promoting high-quality, evidence-based clinical care practices.
- Experience in residential aged care or similar environments is highly desirable.
