We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity based in the beautiful coastal town of Esperance for a Team Leader – Civil & Treatment who has a real keenness about leading from the front!
You'll be at the helm of a dynamic team of skilled Water Corporation professionals, delivering essential water and wastewater services to customers across the stunning South Coastal District of the Great Southern Region.

- Leading cutting-edge safety initiatives including energising team meetings, Safe Job Planning preparation, workplace inspections, and hazard identification and control
- Proactively managing employee performance, professional competence, and behaviour in alignment with Water Corporation's Code of Conduct
- Conducting meaningful safety conversations with team members and personal PPE inspections
- Managing day-to-day team resourcing and workloads across the region
- Building exceptional employee capability through mentoring, coaching, and facilitating corporate/technical training opportunities
- Delivering top-tier water-related services to all Water Corporation customers within regulatory and corporate requirements
- Collaborating with the Operations Manager to maximise regional outcomes from corporate processes
- Embarking on frequent adventures beyond Esperance to outlying towns and works depots for hands-on coaching, mentoring, and safety observations
Are you the leader we're looking for? Here's what will set you apart:
- Certificate III in Water Operations or equivalent Trades qualification
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management (completed or in progress) or equivalent
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and engage
- A track record of demonstrating values and behaviors that fuel constructive, high-performance culture
- Unwavering commitment to OSH procedures
- Current WA C Class Driver's licence
- Flexibility and readiness to step into the Operations Manager role during short-term leave periods
