About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Officer to join our Debt Management team. This role is integral to managing overdue accounts and recovering outstanding payments, while maintaining a professional, ethical, and empathetic approach. You will work closely with customers to understand their financial circumstances and negotiate appropriate repayment solutions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What you can expect with this role

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Negotiating payment arrangements, including repayment plans and lump sum settlements
  • Managing accounts through recovery, restriction, and legal cycles
  • Preparing customer correspondence and investigating and analysing account data
  • Processing and managing legal documentation, with the potential requirement to attend the Magistrate court as a company representative.
  • Taking ownership of customer outcomes by proactively identifying and solving issues
  • Developing your skills across a broad range of credit and debt management activities
  • Maintaining accurate records using solid computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
