This opportunity

Reporting to the GM of IT Planning, the Process Analyst position will ensure IT delivers measurable process improvements and new process capability initiatives across the IT Operating Model.

Responsible for facilitating operational model efficiencies and costs efficiencies related to process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives with industry best practices like eTOM, ITIL, TOGAF. 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements of multiple stakeholders to deliver effective processes and change of IT processes. 
  • Identifying the current and future business and operating processes within IT. 
  • Support process development; creating, documenting, analysing, and validating requirements for effective delivery.
  • Engage closely with IT stakeholders to identify gaps in BAU or adhoc activity management.
  • Propose SOPs / Playbooks to streamline such activities with easy replication.
  • Review processes with a lens to simplify and remove ambiguity.
  • Recommend processes which are sustainable, are easy to execute and simple to understand and follow.
  • Present challenges and remediation / mitigation plans to the leadership team for all new / upgraded processes.
  • Use communication skills to influence a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure processes are adopted as required.
  • Support and conduct training and coaching of staff across the business on IT processes.
  • Identify and work with key stakeholders to improve the process maturity of IT owned processes.
  • Ensure IT process improvement has measurable success criteria and this criteria is tracked and reported.

Knowledge and experience

  • 2 years in a process improvement role or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the Telco industry would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in process mapping and documentation.
  • Demonstrated history of seeing the big picture, driving change and managing results while executing against multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers. Desire to improve processes.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, independent, good communication skills, strong analytical, project management and change management skills, with ability to manage stakeholders, and able to plan and execute.
  • Knowledge of Lean Management (or similar) principles and related tools.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to document and analyse complex process flows and identify improvements.
  • Demonstrated collaborative and pragmatic delivery skills.
