And you play a role in that. A big one. The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.
Could that be you?
Your opportunity:
As our valued Red Team Specialist, you will play a vital role in challenging and strengthening our security posture through offensive security operations and collaborative threat simulations. You'll make impact by:
- Working across a wide range of Penetration Testing projects, performing API/Web, Network, Mobile App, Hardware, IoT, and Mobile Network testing on systems ranging from e-commerce platforms to mobile core infrastructure and everything in between.
- Reviewing secure configurations of SaaS, PaaS, and Cloud systems, providing recommendations to project teams.
- Writing issue tickets and reports, and collaborating directly with project team members, offering insightful perspectives, useful recommendations, and a hands-on approach alongside developers and testers.
- Executing both full-scale covert Red Team Operations and collaborative, test case–focused Purple Team operations across a vast environment.
- Developing exploits for vulnerable systems identified during Penetration Testing or Red/Purple Team operations.
- Testing the effectiveness of security tooling to identify potential weaknesses in our defensive posture.
- Innovating and building custom tooling to strengthen our security capabilities.
- Collaborating with the Security Incident Response Team to enhance detection and response capabilities, as well as delivering training to develop realistic security awareness campaigns.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Offensive Security, penetration testing, or within Security Operations or DevSecOps role. Strong aptitude and hunger to grow into full-scale Red / Purple Teaming.
- Strong technical foundation (Operating Systems, Networking, Web and Scripting)
- Familiarity with Offensive Security tool suites such as Burp, Kali and one or more C2 Frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP testing frameworks and Security-first mindset.
- Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with ability to identify misconfigurations and assess security posture of SaaS/PaaS platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with developers, testers, and security teams in a shared mission to improve defences.
- Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to work constructively within project teams.
- Demonstrated capability through a reputable Security certification (OSCP ideal, but not required, others include CRTO, eCPPT, PJPT, or other reputable security operations certificates)
