To support our mission, we’re seeking a casual Facilities Operator to join our Whangārei Cleaning team and help make a real difference in our community!

What does a Facilities Operator do, you ask?

As a Facilities Operator, you’ll be a versatile team member with your key responsibilities being the rubbish bin run, driving our tipper truck to collect roadside rubbish. You’ll also assist with illegal dumping, graffiti removal and operating the streetsweeper as required.

This is a casual position as operational demands increase so will the availability of shift for you to take. The role can involve early starts and there may be some weekend work required.

What we're looking for:

  • Reliability and Dependability: A proven track record of being punctual, responsible, and consistent in work performance.
  • Full Driver’s Licence with Manual Capability: Essential for driving the tipper truck/streetsweeper and confidently handling work-related driving tasks.
  • Physical Fitness and Stamina: Able to perform hands-on tasks, including rubbish collection and manual labour, as the role involves physical work.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with early starts, varied schedules, and occasional weekend work.
  • Commitment to Health and Safety: Understands and follows safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
