About the role:
Our Response Operators are like Jack or Jane-of-all-trades superstars. They've got the skills and know-how to handle any job that comes their way, drawing from their experience in building and practical handy work. Whether it's fixing up minor stuff or tackling daily repair call-outs, our Response Operators are on it.
The role involves a range of duties and tasks including:
- Repairs and maintenance of public facilities and assets e.g. setting up bollards, picnic tables, fences and park signs
- Landscape and garden maintenance including landscaping projects
- General machinery and equipment maintenance
What we're looking for:
- You’ll be using your practical skills which you may have gained from working in an outdoors role, involved in building, or similar industries
- Be able to interpret building plans, hard and soft landscaping skills, carpentry, concreting, and machinery operation
- A current, full class 1 driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential
- Have experience and confidence to managing projects, including planning of work and ongoing communication with our clients
- You’ll need to be self-motivated with a great work ethic and be able to work alone at times - for the big jobs, you’ve got the support of our team to assist!
- Physically fit and be able to manage some heavy lifting at times
- Pride in your ability to complete all jobs to a high standard of work
