WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Lead Merchant for North America Men’s Sportswear Footwear, you will be focused on the growth and franchise management of our Court Classics, Retro, Air Max and Look of Running assortments. You will report into the North America Merchandising Director of Men’s Sportswear Footwear, and collaborate closely with the Global Sportswear Footwear Merchandising team and cross-functional partners working on the North America Sportswear business. This role is embedded within a dynamic, inclusive, and consumer-focused team that values collaboration and excellence through assortment building and business acumen.
A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve. A key component of this role is the franchise management against some of our biggest Footwear styles in the company. This role is considered high-visibility, and this candidate will be asked to represent our top footwear franchises across many levels of the organization.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a combination of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the Sportswear Footwear consumer and marketplace
- Ability to analyze business and consumer trends
- Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/concepts/ideas
- Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Effective communicator that collaborates and brings people together
- Values differences and builds strong relationships with high cultural awareness
- Proven balance of art and science in decision-making
