About the Role:

We have an opportunity for an Operations Planner to join our Electricity Distribution team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role of the LV Operations Planner is to process Outage Applications and create planning operating instructions to provide safe and effective access to the Jemena Electrical Network, predominantly on the Low Voltage Network and High Voltage Spurs.

Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Manage Outage Applications and create OMS outage plans and switching instructions in Jemena systems.
  • Ensure timely creation of switching instructions in line with operational procedures, standards, and KPIs.
  • Conduct quality control and assurance to ensure compliance with operational requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and training to colleagues and stakeholders on Outage Applications.
  • Collaborate with various teams to minimize customer impact and improve system reliability while reducing costs.

About You:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent trade certificate (e.g., Certificate III Lineworker).
  • Electrical industry background with skills in outage applications and switching instructions.
  • Proficient in network planning for safe access, particularly in Low Voltage and High Voltage systems.
  • Familiar with electrical distribution networks, construction, maintenance, and Green Book regulations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and proficiency in DMS/OMS, GIS, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
