About the role:
Jemena are currently seeking an experienced Future Network Engineer to join our team to provide support and project leadership for future network activities, assist in identifying future network inputs and convert them to Business As Usual standards, processes and procedures.
The role will work to identify and coordinate opportunities to evolve the Asset Management operating systems to encompass industry and customer changing expectations, future network strategies and future network transformation requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engage across Electricity Distribution, Digital and within industry to help deliver future network transformation activities
- Work with Commercial and Strategy and Asset Management team members to convert new engineering products and technologies into business as usual
- Help to maintain innovative systems to analyse future network developments
- Contribute to Asset Management System core documents
- Develop and maintain creative ways of keeping all stakeholders informed on future network transformation team activities
The successful candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in engineering, technical or technology with working knowledge, market knowledge and a broad understanding of electricity distribution networks and the power industry.
The ideal candidate will possess project leadership experience across engineering, technical and technology projects with experience in the power industry. You will have collaborative stakeholder liaison and influencing skills accompanied by good financial acumen and the ability to write clearly and concisely to produce professional business cases and reports.
