The Opportunity:  

Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level? We're seeking a Head of IT Optimisation  

• Optimise IT resource allocation to improve capacity, reduce waste, and implement flexible resourcing models such as cloud or contract staffing to meet changing business demands 
• Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycles, ensuring vendor compliance, value extraction, and timely renewals to maintain uninterrupted service and cost efficiency. 
• Manage the lifecycle of virtual and physical IT assets to drive maximum ROI, minimize underutilization, and enable strategic redeployment or disposal decisions. 
• Identify and implement data-driven strategies to streamline IT operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery across the technology landscape. 
• Prepare high-quality submissions and presentations for Board and leadership groups, communicating key insights, financial performance, and progress on IT initiatives. 
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring IT investments, contracts, and resources are aligned with business goals and deliver long-term value.

About you:  

We're looking for someone who can drive financial efficiency and strategic value across our IT operations. You'll thrive if you bring: 

• Proven experience managing IT budgets, forecasts, and delivering financial efficiency without compromising quality 
• Strong capability in vendor and contract management, ensuring performance, value, and compliance 
• A track record of optimising IT resources and assets, including cloud services and external staffing 
• Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to communicate complex data clearly to senior stakeholders 
• A continuous improvement mindset, using analysis and insights to reduce costs and improve processes 
• Confidence in engaging with senior leaders, aligning IT financials with broader business strategy
