The Group Tax Compliance Manager will manage tax risks for the Group through accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting, together with ensuring the group maintains and further develops strong governance in relation to tax.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all tax compliance requirements are delivered through the accurate and timely completion of tax accounting processes. You will assist the business in achieving its tax obligations, providing clear and concise tax data to key stakeholders, reducing inherent risks, improving processes and procedures, and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of all tax information.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the property funds management industry with a strong focus on accounting and tax. Sound knowledge of Tax Accounting applications, including Tax Integrator is a necessity as well as excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Degree in Commerce/Accounting and post-graduate qualification (CA, CPA or Masters of Tax) is essential
Corporate tax experience (income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax) gained at Big 4 and/or ASX listed corporation
Demonstrated experience with Thomson Reuters Onesource
Proven financial services experience - asset management or banking
Detail-oriented, efficient and organised, with strong time management ability and be able work under pressure
Strong understanding of Australian tax law - direct and indirect taxes
Understanding of transfer pricing principles
Established leadership skills with the ability to lead in strategic financial & tax management
High level of customer centricity;
Experience in statutory and tax reporting
Experience within property sector is desirable
