As our Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring assigned building(s) operate effectively, efficiently and safely, contributing to a positive and comfortable experience for tenants and visitors. You’ll maintain high standards of building presentation and service delivery, manage suppliers and contractors, and ensure building systems are optimised to minimise energy, water and waste consumption while meeting lease obligations.

 

You’ll also play an important role in building strong tenant relationships and ensuring compliance with WHS&E requirements across all building operations and project works.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned building(s), ensuring they operate safely, efficiently and in line with Investa standards.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders to deliver a high level of service and a positive building experience.
  • Manage service providers and contractors to deliver maintenance, services and approved works to agreed service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS&E, statutory obligations and essential services requirements across all building operations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and ensure building systems are optimised to minimise energy, water and waste consumption.
  • Contribute to operational planning including OPEX/CAPEX budgets, project works, tenant fit-outs and emergency management programs.

 

What you bring:

  • Experience in facilities management, building operations or property operations within a commercial environment.
  • Strong contractor and supplier management capability.
  • Knowledge of WHS&E requirements and building compliance obligations.
  • Ability to build strong tenant relationships with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing building systems, maintenance programs and operational budgets (desirable).
