What We Are Looking For:

Product Labeling Business Process Lead (contract) within the Technical Services organization, reporting to the Director of the Global Labeling Engineering group. The Global Labeling Engineering group designs, develops, and supports product labeling for the full lifecycle of Intuitive’s products. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience and expertise in product labeling for medical devices with world-wide distribution to draft and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions, apply global standards and regulatory requirements, implement industry best practices, train the team, provide guidance and mentorship, and complete a range of tasks/projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input and guidance for new operating procedures and work instructions governing Intuitive’s product labeling activities for domestic and international markets (including country-specific labeling).
  • Address Intuitive’s unique product labeling requirements by applying your expertise and experience, ensuring Intuitive adheres to international regulatory requirements and follows industry best practices.
  • Improve Intuitive’s labeling procedures by drafting documents, defining workflows, and aligning with stakeholders across multiple groups within the company.
  • Contribute to Intuitive’s product labeling projects, including label verification.
  • Pilot newly defined processes to identify and fill gaps prior to implementation.
  • Participate in training activities and mentorship opportunities.


Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of labeling of globally-distributed medical devices.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to mixed audiences. Strong ability to present to large groups.
  • Experience with industry standard labeling business systems.
  • Experience with international shipping, customs, import/export standards and regulations (preferred).
  • High level of expertise with design control.
  • Passion for training and mentoring.
  • Experience leveraging data-related data to identify and capitalize on opportunities (preferred).


Key Position Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or other applicable field.
  • Requires 8+ years of experience within the medical device labeling field.
  • Advanced computer experience using Windows, MS Office Suite, Agile (or other PLM system), and SAP (or other ERP system).


Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Intuitive through our direct sourcing partner, Raise who manages Intuitive’s Contractor Talent Community. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Intuitive.
