Batcher / Senior Batch Plant Operator

The Role

Looking for a role that combines customer service, problem-solving, and hands-on work? Join our team as a Batcher / Senior Batch Plant Operator at our Kawana concrete plant. You will manage concrete batching, schedule deliveries, and operate plant equipment.

No prior batching experience? No problem — we’ll provide full training to ensure you are successful in this role!

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent phone-based customer service and represent the Hy-Tec brand
• Take orders, finalise sales, and batch concrete to specific mix designs
• Schedule rostering and truck movements using software
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Order raw materials as needed

What you will need to Succeed

• Experience in a similar role and confidence with computers (Command/Jonel batching systems) would be highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse customers
• Plant Operator experience (FEL preferred)
• Proven ability to prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment
