QA/QC Inspector under direct supervision, responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions.

  • Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: Monday – Friday | 6:00 am - 4:00 pm | Some Weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of various operational activities to ensure compliance with known standards.
  • Identify and report non-conformances using various measuring and testing methods.
  • Conduct final adjustments and perform dimensional inspections of parts.
  • Generate detailed reports of inspection findings and notify operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant issues.
  • Conduct magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts, and initiate and process non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability levels.
  • Capture non-conformances in incoming materials and collaborate with accountable departments for timely corrective actions.
  • Perform final inspections on tools assembled by the Production team to ensure quality and specification compliance.
  • Oversee calibration and outsourcing of active test equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality and/or Industry is preferred.
  • NDE certification - ACC Level 2 preferred.
  • Integrity & Ethical Judgement - Maintains objectivity and reports quality issues honestly, even under pressure
  • Organization skills - Maintains accurate records, manages inspection logs, and ensures traceability of parts and defects
  • Time management - Prioritizes tasks and inspections efficiently, especially in high-volume or deadline-driven environments
  • Receiving feedback - Pays close attention during Gemba walks, audits, and inspections
