We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay Rate: Up to $21.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 7 days on / 3 days off, working 12.5-hour shifts. Candidates will also participate in a rotating remote night schedule 12.5 hours once trained.
Responsibilities:
- Receives telephone calls and reports calls for service jobs to crews or other personnel utilizing telephone and occasionally radio communications equipment.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure work is scheduled and executed efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and knowledge of two-way radio and telephone operating procedures.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Dispatch experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn scheduling or dispatch systems.
